Winifred N. Verdone

Winifred N. (Curtis) Verdone age 70 years died in her Walpole, Massachusetts home surrounded by her family, on Monday, June 14, 2010. Born in Needham, Massachusetts, on May 18th, 1940, she was the daughter of Richard and Eleanore (Knowles) Curtis. She was a member of the 1958 graduating class of Needham High School.

Mrs Verdone was a clerk in Medical Records for the Caritas Norwood Hospital for over 35 years, and recently retired.

She has been a resident of Walpole since 1968 moving from Dedham.

Mrs. Verdone was an avid reader, and spent all of her time with her family and was extremely close to her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of Frank Verdone. Loving mother of Arthur V. Verdone of Maine, Linda M. Sanchez of Berkley, Frank S. Verdone of Attleboro, Patricia A. Catlow of CT and Paul A. Verdone of Middleboro. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Meaghan, Matthew, Kelly, Paul, Nathaniel, and Zackery. Sister of Nancy Sears, Eleanore McIsaac, Paul Curtis, JoAnn Curtis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 10:00AM. Visiting hours are Friday, June 18, 2010, from 4 to 8PM. Interment will be in the Needham Cemetery.
