William Jackson Payne

William Jackson "Jack" Payne, Jr. of Newburg, MD died on August 12, 2013 at his residence. He was 59 years old.

Jack Graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Phi Beta Kappa, with a degree in History. For much of his life, he working the insurance business and later for the United States Postal Service. Jack's life was filled with music, fishing, and boating. He was an avid fan of both the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He instilled the love of these to his daughter, nieces, nephews, and everyone around him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, M. Carol (Peckham) Payne, and his father, William Jackson Payne, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Donna; his daughter, Alexis Grace; and his sisters, Virginia Maxey and Patricia Payne. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, neohews, and a host of friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 11AM to 1PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Walpole.
