William M. "Bee" Lennon, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Sunrise of Norwood, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 29, 1935, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Naughton) Lennon. He was raised in the Jamaica Plain area of Boston, where he graduated from Boston Trade High School with the Class of 1954. Following his graduation, William enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country. He was stationed with Company C, Second Medium Tank Battalion, 20th Armored Division. He was honorably discharged in February of 1962, after earning the rank of Private First Class.
William married his beloved wife, Mary E. Mulcahy, on October 15, 1966, in Mission Church in Roxbury. The couple made their home together in Jamaica Plain, and William took a position with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. While working for the MBTA, William took courses at Newbury Junior College, earning his associate degree. In 1977, William and Mary moved their family out of the city, settling into their new home in East Walpole, where they resided for the last 44 years.

Loving father of Karen M. Lennon of North Attleborough, William M. Lennon and his wife, Jessamy, of Snohomish, Washington, Maureen A. Lennon of North Attleborough, and Ann Marie Johnson and her husband, Timothy, of Westford.
Cherished grandfather (Pa) to Tyler, Natasha, Nigel, Nathaniel, Lindsey, Madeleine, Megan, Liam and Amelia. Great grandfather to McKenzie and Nolan.
Brother of John Lennon of Winchester, the late Joseph Lennon, and the late Mary Lynch.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend William's visitation on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole.
All are invited to gather in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 9:30 AM prior to William's Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Saint Mary's Church, 176 Washington Street, East Walpole at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
