WILLIAM P. ELLIS age 85 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital on Sunday, April 29, 2007. Born in Franklin, MA on July 6, 1921 to William A. and Carrie V. (Paver) Ellis. He graduated from Franklin High School with the class of 1939 and went on to a trade school in Maine for a year. He was an Army veteran from World War II and was a recipiant of the Purple Heart. He moved to Walpole in 1963.
He worked as foreman in a machine shop in the tool making department for 45 years until he retired in 1986.
He was a member of the United Church in Walpole, a member of the Azure Lodge in Walpole, and the past president of New England Family Camper Association
Mr. Ellis enjoyed his home in Falmouth for the past 8 years and enjoyed travel trailer camping prior to this.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Friday, May 4, 2007 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 4pm to 7pm. Interment in Terrace Hill Cemetery Walpole.
