William E. Backoff

William E. Backoff, III, age 56 years, died in the Catholic Memorial Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on December 6, 1956, he graduated from the Norfolk County Agricultural High School in Walpole. He has been a resident of New Hampshire for the past 20 years and had previously lived in Walpole and Foxboro, Massachusetts.

William was employed by Eptam Plastics in Northfield, NH, working with medical implants, and formerly worked at Metal Bellows.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially skiing, hunting, and tubing on the river. William loved spending time with his friends and neighbors, and especially loved spending time with his children.

Loving father of Scott Michael Backoff of Laconia and Sara E. Backoff of Manchester, NH. Devoted son of William E. and Barabara (Hentschel) Backoff of Walpole. Brother of Nancy L. Kiehl of Attleboro, Paul M. Backoff , Stephen H. Backoff both of Walpole, and the late Robert D. Backoff.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend William's Life Celebration on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 3-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Walpole.
