Wilfred "Bill" Waterman

Wilfred "Bill" Waterman II, 64, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on May 24, 2018, after having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 3 years ago.

A party to celebrate his life will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on June 9, 2018 at the Mansfield Elks Club, 140 North Main Street, Mansfield, MA 02048. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.

Bill was born in Norwood, MA on January 4, 1954. He graduated from Walpole High School in 1972.

He was married to Debra Waterman on August 22, 1982; they were married 36 years.

Described by his family as intelligent and creative, Bill had a passion for inventing and fabricating new parts for his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, which he rode as often as possible with his wife and friends. Bill instilled within his children a love of art and music. He enjoyed singing for the bands Lovelace and The Phone as well as singing to his wife and children. He was an excellent handyman who spent much of his life fixing up his home, his vehicles, and his children's toys over the years. He had a dry sense of humor and a gift for story telling.

Bill is survived by his wife Debbie; his children, Cassandra Federman and Corey Waterman; his grandchild Fletcher Federman; his brothers, Ronald Jr. and David Waterman; his sister, Margie Townsend; and his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Ronald Waterman; and his sister, Laurie Hossfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network; 1500 Rosencrans Ave., Ste 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
