W. Prescott Golding

MR. W. PRESCOTT "SCOTT" GOLDING AGE 57 YEARS DIED IN THE CARITAS NORWOOD HOSPITAL, NORWOOD, MASSACHUSETTS ON TUESDAY MORNING, MAY 23RD, 2006. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 13th, 1949, the son of Barbara S. (Shufelt) and the late Robert E. Golding. Mr. Golding graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1967. He later graduated from Northeastern University and from Suffolk University having earned his MBA.

A life long resident of Walpole.

Mr. Golding was the founder and president of Filtration & Fluid Technology, Inc. of Walpole and West Boylston. A company he has run for over 20 years.

Scott is a member of the Azure Lodge (Walpole Masons), presently a member of the Personnel Board , RTM, former member of the Conservation Commission, and Past President of the Walpole Little League, all for the Town of Walpole. A member of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, the New England Geological Society , where he had been tracing his root back to the Mayflower. Mr. Golding had made application and recently selected to join the Mayflower Society.

Beloved husband of Betty Anne (Jankowski) Golding Loving father of Heather Anne Golding , W. Prescott Golding, Jr. both of Boston, and Joshua Whitman Golding of Brooklyn, New York. Cherished son of Barbara S. (Shufelt) Golding of Osterville and the late Robert E. Golding. Brother of Robert E. Golding of Florida and Sarah E. Amico of Plainville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the memorial service to be held in the side yard at Scott's home 79 Plimpton Street Walpole, Massachusetts on Tuesday morning, May 30th, 2006 at 11AM. Visiting hours are Monday Afternoon, May 29th, 2006 from 4PM to 8PM AC.in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private.
