Virginia Marie Stokinger

Virginia Marie Stokinger, 62, of Attleboro, Massachusetts passed away on June 3, 2022 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on November 7, 1959 she was the daughter of Joseph Edgar and the late Evelyn Abely. She was raised in Walpole, where she graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1978.

Virginia raised her three children Denise, William and Katelyn in Walpole, Massachusetts. She had a special place in her heart for animals having owned many throughout her life. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to her gardens.

Caring daughter of Joseph Edgar and the late Evelyn Abely.

Loving mother of Denise Spencer and her husband Brian Grimes of Franklin, Massachusetts, William Stokinger III of Wayland, Massachusetts and Katelyn Stokinger and her husband Nicholas Brown of Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Cherished grandmother of Noah Spencer.

Dear sister of Patricia Donovan, Joseph Abely, Thomas Abely, and Edward Abely and his wife Linda.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Virginia’s Life Celebration on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 4 - 8 PM at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home in Walpole, Massachusetts.
