Virginia A. Perry

Virginia A. (Joseph) Perry age 65 years died in the Radius Specialty Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday, Janaury 24, 2012. Born in Boston on August 31, 1946, she graduated from Roslindale High School with the class of 1964. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 25 years moving there from Norwood.

She worked as an office manager for the M. Joseph Sewing Machine Company for 20 years. She also owned two restaurants, Casa Lisa in Norwood and Ginny's Place in Franklin. In addition, she was a care giver for the elderly.

Virginia enjoyed planning parties, dancing, listening to music, cooking, and traveling to Florida to visit her family. She loved children and helping people, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Devoted daughter of Mildred H. (Brierley) Joseph of Centerville and the late Nicholas Joseph. Beloved companion of Bernard F. Doris of Walpole. Loving mother of Lisa A. Faford of Walpole. Sister of Diane M. and her husband Daniel J. Foley of Walpole, the late Paul M. Joseph and the late Philip N. Joseph. Also survived by 2 nieces, a nephew, 3 grand nieces and 2 grand nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, January 30, 2012 from 4-8 PM. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury. Memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Association 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
