Victoria L. Shepherd April 27, 1937-July 6, 2011

With much sorrow we announce the passing of Victoria "Vicki" Louise (Melito) Shepherd, 74 of Franklin, MA after a long illness on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. The beloved wife of the late, Peter R. Shepherd formerly of Dedham, MA. Mother of the predeceased Victoria N. (Shepherd) Puorro of Walpole, MA and Peter R. Shepherd , Jr., of Dedham, MA.

Survived by her devoted son, Wayne P. Shepherd of Franklin, MA. She leaves behind three grandchildren Steven W. Shepherd of Franklin, MA, Richard Puorro and Joseph Puorro both of Walpole, MA, an aunt and many nieces and nephews.

Vicki grew up in Dedham, MA. She was a housewife who loved all of her family dearly. She enjoyed cooking, singing in Italian, gardening, reading and drawing, She wrote published articles for magazines.

Vicki had a zest for life and was loved by all. Even through hard times she would smile. She had a caring and generous spirit about her. Vicki, you will be greatly missed by all. We all love you and miss you so much.
