Timothy P. Headd

Timothy P. Headd, age 53, passed away in the Brigham and Women's Hospital on Friday, September 29, 2017. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on September 11, 1964, he was the son of the late Martin J. and Lorraine M. (Kamp) Headd. He was raised in East Walpole, Massachusetts, where as a young boy, Tim loved playing hockey. Tim graduated from Tri County Regional Vocational Technical High School with the Class of 1982 and quickly found work with Anderson Electrical Contractors in Walpole. He also worked part time as a truck driver for Cleveland Fuel, before becoming a Call Firefighter serving the Walpole Fire Department.

Tim was appointed a permanent firefighter with the WFD in 1987 and settled in the Town of Foxborough, Massachusetts. He married his loving wife, Janet E. Garbarino, on May 8, 1993 in Saint Mary's Church in Foxborough. The young couple made their home together in Foxborough, where they welcomed their two girls, Allison and Jessica. In a continued effort to serve his community, Tim was appointed a reserve officer with the Foxborough Police Department. Prior to his retirement in 2015 from the Walpole Fire Department and Foxborough Police Department, Tim began working as a Maintenance Technician at the Royal Crest Country Club Condominiums.

Tim loved his hometown area of Walpole and Foxborough and enjoyed spending time with his friends at Clyde's and Chickie Flynn's, however he truly loved being in the State of Maine. As a child, he spent every summer at his family's home in Denmark, Maine and as he grew older, he and his family frequented the area of Naples and Bridgton, Maine, making new lasting friendships at Rick's Café and the Campfire Grill. He and his girls could often be found on a boat tubing, waterskiing, and most recently kneeboarding, or by the lakeshore with a fishing line in the water, alongside his girls. Wintertime meant snowmobiling, however once the nice weather came around, Tim's motorcycle came out of storage and he could be found supporting his favorite charity rides.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Tim's Life Celebration on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 4-8 PM and Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9-9:20 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
