Thomas R. Sawyer

Thomas R. Sawyer age 57 years died in the Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, New York on Saturday, January 24, 2009. He was born on January 4, 1952 in Norwood, Massachusetts to his parents Thomas R. & Carmela (Carchedi) Sawyer.

He worked for the Menemsha Companies in California as a project manager. He hired the crews, pulled the permits, and ran jobs, building Starbucks and other commercial buildings , all around the country.

Mr. Sawyer enjoyed playing darts at the Celtic Corner, in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Beloved husband of Gloria "Gigi" (Hawkins) Sawyer. Loving father of Shayne Hawkins. Cherished grandfather of Braden Hawkins. Devoted son of Carmela (Carchedi) Sawyer of Walpole and the late Thomas R. Sawyer. Brother of Mary McMahon of Foxborough, Mark Sawyer, and Joseph Sawyer both of Walpole. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 11 AM.
