THOMAS J. HANSON, SR. AGE 71 YEARS DIED AT the Caritas Norwood Hospital on Tuesday, February 14th, 2006. Born in South Boston, He graduated from South Boston High School Class of 1952. He entered into the United States Navy and served his country during the Korean Conflict. Upon his return home, he entered into Wentworth Institute Boston Class of 1960 with a degree in Electrical Engineer, later went back Northeastern University class of 1952 degree in Induatrial Engeering. In 1978 he graduated from Suffolk University with a MBA.

A resident of Wrentham for the past 2 years moving there from Walpole , where he lived for over 38 years.

A retired engineer for Hewlett Packard Company, he retired 11 years ago, having worked in Waltham and Andover Plants.

Member of the Norwood Elks, BPOE 1124, Hewlett Packard Retired Employees Club HPREM , South Boston Irish American Club, South Boston Boys Club Mr. Hanson's greatest love was for his grandchildren and taking them all camping.

Beloved husband of Virginia (Hamilton) Hanson Loving father of Gayle & husband Donal Martin of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Paula & husband Neal O'Brien of Foxboro, Jill & husband Robert Greeley of Walpole, Lisa Hanson of Wrentham and Thomas & wife Celia Hanson, Jr. of Wrentham Cherished Papa of Donnie, Nicky, Matthew, Andrew, Rob, Julia, Sean, Tommy,and Timmy

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church Walpole on Friday, February 17, 2006 @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, February 16, 2006 4pm to 8pm at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery. .
