Thomas Joseph Griffin, Jr., age 39, was taken too soon on Monday, December 10, 2018. Born in Malden, Massachusetts on August 6, 1979, he was raised in Bellingham, Massachusetts before settling in Uxbridge his freshman year of high school. Tom graduated from Uxbridge High School with the Class of 1998.
Following graduation, Tom began his sales career in the electrical field. As an outgoing man, Tom’s career flourished, as he truly loved his job. He worked for several companies over the years, always maintaining a great salesman – client relationship with all of his customers, many of whom became lifelong friends with Tom.
When Tom met Nicole, it was love at first sight. He was instantly sold on their first date, as was she. They knew they were meant to be together, as did everyone who witnessed their love for each other. Together, they made their home in Norwood, Massachusetts and were married on October 12, 2013 in the First Church of Milton. Nicole was Tom’s world, the true love of his life.
When Tom wasn’t doting on Nicole, his next love in life was spending time with his sister, Kristen, and her children. He loved and cherished every minute with them. Tom and Kristen were as close as a sister and brother could be, and his nieces and nephews gave him so much pride and joy. Some of his favorite past-times were the times spent with them, especially during their Christmas morning nerf wars.
Tom also enjoyed hitting the links for a round of golf or meeting up with friends to watch the Dallas Cowboys or his beloved Boston Bruins. He looked forward to his Monday night poker games in Milford and was always ready for his fantasy football draft as football season approached.
Beloved husband of Nicole M. (Abruzzese) Griffin.
Devoted son of the late Delores (Thibault) Sullivan and her surviving husband John Sullivan of Uxbridge and Thomas J. Griffin and his wife Kathleen of Methuen.
Brother of Kristen Fairhurst and her husband James of Grafton and step-brother of Melissa Ferrante, Christine Hill, and Patricia Hill.
Cherished uncle of Ashleigh, Jonathan, Hailey, Katelyn, Hayden, and Evan.
