Thomas J. Foley

Thomas J. Foley age 65 years died in the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 17, 2010. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 4, 1945; he was the son of the late Daniel J. and Dorothy (Meroth) Foley. He graduated from Hyde Park High School with the class of 1963. Mr. Foley has been a resident of Sharon, Massachusetts for the past 37 years moving from Hyde Park.

He worked for the Town of Walpole since 1987. He began as a craftsman in the Bulding Maintenance Department; then in 1993 he transferred to the Water Department and served as a pump station operator and water system technician. He retired from the Town of Walpole in 2009.

Mr. Foley was a member of the Knights of Pythias at the Canton Lodge and the Hyde Park Bowling League. He enjoyed playing darts and was a member of many dart leagues.

He enjoyed music and old movies, but most especially loved family gatheings, and being with her grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Carole A. (Trocano) Foley. Loving father of Debra M. Johansen of W. Bridgewater and Susan C. and her husband Edward Johnson of Easton. Cherished grandfather of Eric, Patrick, Jason,and Jenna. Brother of Robert Foley of Dedham, the late Eugene Foley and the late Daniel Foley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 3pm to 7pm, with a Memorial Service being held at 6:30PM, in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private.
