Mr. Thomas F. Curry age 87 years died in the Metro West Framingham Union Hosptial on Monday, November 17th, 2008. Born in Brookline, Massachusetts on December 1st 1920, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary T. (Ward) Curry. He graduated from Saint Mary's High School in Brookline with the Class of 1939. He entered Boston College and completed 2 years there before transferring to Catholic University, Washington D.C. where he earned his bachelor's degree. Mr. Curry completed his studies at Georgetown University Law School. Mr. Curry entered into the United States Navy, and served his country during World War II. He earned the rank of Lieutenant, and remained in the United States Naval Reserve until 1949.
Mr. Curry worked as an agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for the years he was at Georgetown Law School. Once he completed there, he resigned and embarked on his law career. That career spanned 35 years, and he served most of them as Corporate Counsel for the Dennison Corporation in Framingham, Massachusetts.
A resident of Westboro for the past 10 years, he formerly lived in Palm City, Florida, Needham, Mass and South Harwich, Mass.
He was an avid golfer and was a former member of the Wellesley Country Club and the Martin Downs Country Club in Palm City, Florida
A former member of the American Bar Asssociation, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Boston Bar Association.
Beloved husband of the late Mary F. (Finnegan) Curry. Loving father of Kevin T. Curry of Hilton Head Island South Carolina, Maureen C. Lesuer of Wellesley, and Kathleen C. Thibault of Walpole. Cherished grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 1. Brother of the late John Curry, the late Joseph Curry, and the late Albert Curry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend an hour of visitation on Monday morning from 8:30AM to 9:30AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole at 10AM. Interment is in Holyhood Cemetery Brookline, Massachusetts. Memorial donations may be made to: Sisters of St. Joseph, 85 Bethany Road Framingham, Massachusetts 01702.
