Thomas F. “Red” Coyne, age 99, died in the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood, Massachusetts on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Born in Norwood on December 6, 1915, he was the son of the late Coleman and Delia (McLean) Coyne. He graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1934. Red proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was stationed in the European Theater of Operation with the Company B, 101st Infantry Regiment and was honorably discharged in 1945 as a Technical Sergeant. He has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 67 years moving from Norwood.
