Therese M. Gilman

Mrs. Therese M. (Cullinane) Gilman age 82 years died in The Pavillion Retirement and Rehailitation Center, Hyannis, Massachusetts, on Wednesday evening, October 21, 2009. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on January 6, 1927 , she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah T. and Sarah J. (Garvey) Cullinane. Raised in East Walpole, Massachusetts, she graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1945, and from Boston College with the Class of 1949.

Mrs. Gilman was an elementary education teacher in the Potomac, Maryland School District.

Presently a resident of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. She moved there after her husband and she retired and left Maryland for Massachusetts.

Therese enjoyed her family, and entertaining both in the Washington , D.C. area and the Cape Cod area.

Beloved wife of the late Edward M. Gilman. Loving daughter of the late Jeremiah T. & Sarah J. (Garvey) Cullinane. Devoted sister of the late Rev. Jeremiah T. Cullinane and the late Mary T. Cullinane.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 9AM. Visiting hours are Monday Morning, October 26, 2009 from 8AM to 8:30AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole, Massachusetts.
