Thelma A. (Duncan) Donahue age 75 years died in her Walpole Home on Friday, June 20, 2008. Born in Rosehearty, Scotland on September 10, 1932 to her parents Francis Prahm and Christian Ritchie Tytler (Watt) Duncan, she moved to the United States in 1950, living in the South Shore, New York, Boston, and finaaly settleing in Walpole in 1976.
She worked as a Nurses Aide at the Hebrew Center for the Aged for 30 years., previously working as a nanny in both New York and Boston.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, and music, but especailly enjoyed spending time with her grandchilren.
Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Donahue. Loving mother of Mark F. Donahue of Franklin and Neale F. and his wife Susan Donahue of Wrentham. Cherished grandmother of Bryan F. Donahue, Andrew F. Donahue, Patrick F. Donahue all of Wrentham, and Lindsay M. Donahue of Plainville. Sister of Margaret, Frank, Robert all of Scotland, Henry of New Zealand, and the late Moira. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 3-7PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole. Memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Society 20 Speen Street Framingham, Massachusetts 01701.
