MR. SILVANO MARIO CECCA AGE 82 YEARS DIED IN HIS WALPOLE HOME ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2005. Born in Boston, Massachusetts where he attended the Boston Public Schools. Entered into the United States Navy in 1942 and served his country as a Gunner"s Mate First Class in the Pacific Theatre during WWII.

A Self employed Printer for his adult life having his own business for over 15 years and retiring in 1988.

Mr. Cecca was a resident of Westwood for 41 years and had spent the last 9 years in Clearwater, Florida.

Husband of Thecla M.R. (Chakouian) Cecca Loving father of Richard M. Cecca of Plymouth, Brian D. Cecca of Walpole, Thecla D. Gordon of Needham, and Kimberly M. Cecca of Manhattan, NYC Cherished grandfather of Deacon Cecca, Brandon Cecca, Colby Cecca, John Gordon, Jeff Gordon, James Gordon, Coleman Cecca and Collin Cecca Brother of Benjamin Cecca and Dorothy Evans

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the committal service in the Massachusetts National Cemetery @ Bourne at the Route 28 Rotary, on Friday, September 9th, 2005 @ 2PM. Visiting hours are omitted at the request of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Parkwood Community Center, Cecca Memorial Fund, c/o Jim Blair 2900 Gulf to Bay Clearwater, Florida 33765 arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole.
