Ruth T. Peshin

January 18, 1928 — February 28, 2013

Ruth T. (Lewis) Peshin age 85 years died in the Charlwell House in Norwood, Massachusetts on Thursday, February 28, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Duffley) Lewis. She has been a resident of East Walpole since 1964 moving there from Dorchester.

She was an office manager for the New England Telephone Company for 41 years, retiring in 1975.

Mrs. Peshin was a life member of the Ladies Auxillary at the DAV Post 12 in South Boston and a member of the Ladies Auxillary at the American Legion Post 317 in South Boston.

Beloved wife of Edmund J. Peshin. Sister of William H. Lewis of Franklin, Marie Lewis, Marjorie Lewis, Rosemary Lewis all of Milton, the late John Lewis, the late Paul Lewis, the late Edith Lewis, and the late Helen Desroches. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 4-7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
