Ruth Irene Patterson

Mrs. Ruth Irene (Gottschald) Patterson age 85 years died in the Norwood Hosptial, Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, June 15th, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 19, 1927, the daughter of Roy I and Ruth M (Fandel) Gottschald. She graduated from Roslindale High School with the Class of 1945. Mrs. Patterson retired in 1998 from the John E. Patterson Insurance Company of Westwood. A resident of Walpole for the past 50 years.

As an active member of the United Church, Mrs. Patterson served on many committes and in various positions within the church, including the Church Choir.

Beloved wife of the late Warren N. Patterson Loving mother of Deborah L. and Elliott Southworth of Murphy, NC, Warren D. Patterson and Scott C. Patterson both of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Carolyn Cutting of Taunton and great grandmother of Joshua P. Cutting.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Service in The United Church in Walpole 30 Common Steet Walpole on Wednesday evening, June 19th, 2013 @ 7PM. Visiting hours and the interment are private at the request of the family.
