Ruth Ellen Masison

Ruth Ellen (Driscoll) Masison age 76 years died in the Massachusetts General Hospital on Saturday, October 27, 2007. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 18, 1931 to her parents John & Frances (Leville) Driscoll, she graduated from the Rosary Academy in Watertwon, Massachusetts with the class of 1950. Later in her life she earned her associates degree form Northeastern in 1982, and earned her bachelors degree Cum Laude in 1986. she had been living in Norfolk for the past 13 years coming from Walpole where she lived for 12 years.

She worked in the Accounting Department of Hollingsworth and Vose in East Walpole, before working as the Payroll supervisor at United Steel and Aluminum, where she retired in 1995.

She was active in the Norfolk Senior Center and she was the past President of Friends of Council on Aging.

Loving mother of Richard and Twila Masison of Mansfield, James and Ann Marie Masison of Plainville, Nancy and Anthony Lancellotti of Norfolk, Donald and Vicky Masison of Mansfield, Robert and Kristine Masison of Mansfield, and Sandra Jean Seltzer of Cranston, RI. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin and Rachel Masison, Elizabeth and James Masison, Jason and Christian Lancellotti, Angela Masison, Corrie Masison, and Ashly and Aaron Seltzer. Also survived by dear friends, including Allan and Patricia Masison, and many nieces and nephews. Former wife of Charles J. Masison.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral that will be celebrated at Saint Jude's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk on Friday, November 2, 2007 @ 10:30 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, November 1, 2007 2-4 & 7-9PM at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Rock Ridge Cemetery.
