Ruth E. (Lawrence) Dubuc age 98 years died in the Harrington House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Walpole, Massachusetts on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont on April 24, 1913; she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah (Burchill) Lawrence. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 16 years moving there from Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
She worked in the business office of Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for 20 years, and after her retirement, she continued to volunteer at the hospital.
Mrs. Dubuc was an avid bowler and was a member of Saint Mary's Church Bowling League in Pawtucket. She enjoyed being social with both family and friends and traveling.
Beloved wife of the late Norman T. Dubuc. Loving mother of Norman Dubuc of Harvard, David Dubuc of Lansing, MI, Janet Macchi of Walpole, and Richard Dubuc of Windham, NH. Cherished grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 1. Sister of the late Eileen DeLong and Helena Canning.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Timothy's Church Nichols Street Norwood on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visiting hour will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Notre Dame Cemetery Pawtucket, RI.
