Ruth Elaine Boragine

Ruth Elaine (Bennett) Boragine age 83 years died in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, Massachusetts on Sunday Morning, November 4th, 2007. Born in Walpole on December 10, 1923 , daughter of the late John & Harriett (Patterson) Bennett. A 1941 graduate of Walpole High School. She had lived in Walpole until she moved to South Yarmouth for 23 years and most recently to Norton for the past 4 years.

Mrs. Boragine had worked for the New England Telephone Company for 10 years in the Walpole Office.

She enjoyed cooking and knitting. She loved to paint with water colors, capturing stills lifes, landscapes, and seascapes on the canvas. She did cherish the time she spent with her family.

Mrs. Boragine had done volunteer work at the South Yarmouth Methodist Church, while living in South Yarmouth.

Mrs. Boragine also worked with the South Norfolk County Association for Retarded Citizens for many years.

Beloved wife of Mario Albert Boragine, Jr Loving mother of George A. Rafuse, Jr. of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Mario A. Boragine, III of Fairlee, Vermont and Bruce B. Boragine of Taunton Cherished Grandmother of 4 Sister of Grace Tavernier of West Yarmouth, Frances Palumbo of Las Vegas, Roberta Harrison of Carver, the late Robert Bennett, , the late Charles Bennett, the late Connie Wright and the late Patricia Donovan. also survived by many nieces and nephews especially Jackie Wunschel of South Yarmouth.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Thursday, November 8, 2007 @ 11AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 . Interment Knollwood Memorial Park Canton, Massachusetts .
