Rose E. Gavrilles

Rose E. (Fiore) Gavrilles, of Medfield died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Wayland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was 83.

Born on September 6, 1931 in Woburn, Rose was the daughter of the late Angelo and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Fiore.  Rose resided in Medfield for over 40 years. She was married to Philip E. Gavrilles until his death on July 10, 1999.  

In addition to her husband, Philip she is predeceased by her sisters, Joyce Fiore and Sally Keenan.

Love lives in the hearts of her family and friends. Rose leaves her children, Steven P. Gavrilles and his wife, Nelita of Wrentham, Philip M. Gavrilles of Medfield, Michael A. Gavrilles and his wife, Michel of Franklin, Evan J. Gavrilles and his wife, Vicki of Phoenix, AZ, Michele Rogers and her husband, John of Hopkinton, Julie E. Gavrilles of Medfield, Lisa A. Taylor and her husband, Michael of Amesbury and Kimberly S. Gavrilles of Beverly;  her sister Margaret ‘Tiny’ McLaughlin; and was also survived by 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Rose's life by gathering for calling hours at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole on Thursday, February 19th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and again on Friday morning where her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 am. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
