Roberta Lee Burt

Mrs. Roberta Lee (Byrnes) Burt age 59 years died on Thursday, June 28th, 2007 in her South Attleboro Home. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts, on January 30th, 1948, the daughter of the late Robert W. & Dora (Street) Byrnes. A 1966 graduate of Walpole High School.

Mrs. Burt had been a resident of South Attleboro for 5 years moving there from Canton, where she had raised her family.

Mrs. Burt was a very social person, having a love for her family friends and especially her pets. She had the opportunity to swim with the Dolphins in Florida last year. She had 5 cats at her home. Her greatest love was for her Grandchildren, spending time with them, enjoying there activities as well as cooking and she loved to bake for them. Especially enjoyed making Brownies

Treasured mother of Meredith L. Wedge and her fiance Eric Katno both of Canton, Paula and her husband Mark Hammond of Carver, and Lisa Burt and boyfriend Manuel Costa III of South Attleboro Cherished Grammy of Mark, Paul, Autumn, Peter and Katie. Sister of Maureen and her husband Charlie Buckman of Woonsocket, RI, Alison and her husband Joseph Marinaro of Canton, and the late William Byrnes.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Tuesday Morning, July 3rd, 2007 @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Monday Afternoon from 4PM to 8 PM . Interment will be private.
