Robert C. Tryon, age 85, died in his Walpole, Massachusetts home on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on October 26, 1929, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Caroline M. (Rutz) Tryon. He was raised in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School with the class of 1946. After high school, Robert began taking classes at Bentley College.
He married the love of his life, Patricia J. Reilly on April 19, 1951. Shortly after being married, Robert enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Orlando, Flordia during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 1956.
After his discharge, Robert and Patricia made their home in Walpole, Massachusetts. He took a position as a teller with Bank of Boston and finished his college education at Northeastern Univeristy in 1962. Robert moved into the Real Estate Department of Bank of Boston and in 1989 he retired as a the Vice President after 40 years of service.
After his retirement, Robert and his wife enjoyed spending their winters together in the Florida Keys. They also enjoyed traveling together, some of their most memorable trips included Ireland, Europe, Alaska, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Islands.
In his spare time, Robert enjoyed fishing, golfing and coaching Little League Baseball in Walpole. He and his wife enjoyed playing cards with friends and taking trips to Foxwoods and Twin River.

Loving father of Robert W. Tryon of Cape Cod, Phil J. Tryon of San Francisco, Susan M. Peters of Walpole, Stephen M. Tryon of Asbury, NJ, Andrew S. Tryon of Berwick, ME, and Peter D. Tryon of Sugarloaf, FL.
Cherished grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 6.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Robert's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5-8 PM and Friday, May 15, 2015 from 9:30-10 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Jude's Church, 86 Main Street, Norfolk on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Old Colony Hospice, One Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
