Robert "Bobby" Orlando, age 65 years, died in his Walpole, Massachusetts home on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 23, 1948, he was the son of the late Alfred J. and Doris (Will) Orlando. He graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1966. He has been a life long resident of Walpole.
Bobby worked as a bartender at the Italian American Club in Walpole. In addition he worked with his brothers at the Walpole Center Sunoco and most recently worked at the Walpole Woodworkers.
He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following both hockey and baseball. He also enjoyed bowling, playing pool, and playing softball with the Italian American Club.
Cherished father of Stephanie Orlando of Foxboro, Derek Orlando of Foxboro and Lisa Johnson of South Easton. Cherished grandfather of Luciana Coscia and Drew Gray. Devoted son of the late Alfred J. and Doris (Will) Orlando. Loving brother of Raymond Orlando, Alfred J. Orlando, Donna Robinson all of Walpole, David Orlando of North Attleboro, Kim Oram of Mansfield, Beverly Orlando of Plainville, Catherine Orlando of California, the late Deborah Barry and the late Edward J. Orlando. Also survived by many nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church 10 Diamond Street Walpole on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 10:30AM. Visiting hours are Monday, August 5, 2013 from 4 to 8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
