Robert P. Mclaughlin

ROBERT PAUL MCLAUGHLIN AGE 66 YEARS DIED at the NewEngland Sinai Hospital on Tuesday, March 14, 2006. Born in Boston, on April 7, 1939. He was raised and educated in Dorchester graduating with the class of 1956. He was a member of the Roxbury Red Raiders Football Team. He went on to Wentworth Institute of Technology, and then onto Pipe Fitter's Local 537 School graduating with the class of 1963. He was of Walpole and Harwich formerly of West Roxbury.

He was a proud lifelong member of the Pipe Fitter's Union Local 537 & worked for the MBTA for 28 years. He was an avid sports fan of all major Boston sports. Mr. MacLaughlin served in the United States Army Reserves as a Sergeant, from November of 1959 thru September of 1965.

Beloved Husband of Dorothy A. (McCormick) McLaughlin Loving father of Susan and her husband John Buckley of Walpole, Michael and his wife Jennifer McLaughlin of Walpole, Robert and his wife Carol McLaughlin of Walpole, and Judith and her husband James Stanton of Walpole Cherished grandfather of Melissa, John, Jacqueline, and Natalie Buckley, Mollie, Hannah, Michael, and Hallie McLaughlin, Callum McLaughlin, Rachel, Cate Stanton, all of Walpole Brother of Edward (Pally) and his wife Mary McLaughlin of Dennis, and Margaret wife of the late Alexander Wierzbicki of W. Roxbury. Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church on Friday, March 17, 2006 @ 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, March 16, 2006 4-8 PM at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Joseph's Cemetery.
