Robert "Bob" Charles Maria

Robert "Bob" Charles Maria, 66, died at home due to complications from diabetes on Thursday October 13, 2016 in Walpole, MA. He was born on January 22, 1950 in Brockton, MA to Charles Maria and Helen (Henry). Bob grew up in Sharon MA and graduated from Sharon High School in 1969.

During his life Bob worked for Conrail as well as in construction and residential painting. Bob was known as a hard worker skilled in home restoration and will be especially missed by his friends and colleagues at ARS Restoration Specialists.

Bob is survived by many friends and extended family including his girlfriend of 20 years, Brenda Brooks; his daughter Jessica Maria, son-in-law Michael Valladares, and grandson Rocko Valladares; his son Joseph DiMaria and daughter-in-law Jessica DiMaria; his mother Helen Maria; his sister Donna Maria and her children, niece Dawnelle Hayden, and nephew Jeremy Hayden. Bob was preceded in death by his father Charles Maria in 2007. He is remembered for his smiling eyes, wry sense of humor, and for the love and pride he had for his two children and grandchild.

A public visitation will be held at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common St. Walpole from 2-5pm on Saturday October 22, 2016. Please join the family to share memories and raise a toast to Bob at Conrad's located at 905 Main Street in Walpole after 5pm. Bob will be cremated and his ashes will be kept with his family.
