Robert E. Johnson

Mr. Robert E. Johnson age 68 years died in his Attleboro home on Thursday evening, April 15, 2010, surrounded by his family. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on March 24, 1942, the son of Edgar and Gladys (Edlund) Johnson. He graduated in 1960 from Norwood High School and attended Boston College.

A resident of Attleboro since March of 2008, having lived in Pennslyvania, Arizona, Chicago, and Texas while he worked for Power Packaging. He retired in February of 2008 as the Human Resources Manager for them. Prior to this he was the Production Supervisor for Walpole Bottling Company (20 years) and for Coca Cola Bottling in Needham and Braintree. He was a 15 year member of the Walpole Call Fire Department.

An avid model train collector, he was a member of the Train Collector Association

He loved to garden and was a cultivator of roses. He used to cut firewood and sell it while living in Walpole.

Beloved and devoted partner of Patricia A. Kelter. Loving father of Robert E. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Kerri of PA, Lauri E. Auer and her husband Daniel of Attleboro, Scott E. Johnson and his wife Terri of Foxboro, and Susan E. Ouzounian and her husband Edmund of Attleboro. Cherished grandfather of Courtney Johnson, Karolyn Auer, and Zachary Ouzounian. Brother of Elaine Nelson and her husband Carl of St. Petersburg, FL, the late Marilyn Lund, and the late Barbara Pellowe. Brother in law of Paul Lund of Bedford and Robert Pellowe of Walpole.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Monday, April 19, 2010 @ 11AM.. Visiting hours are Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 2PM-6PM at funeral home . Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
