Robert H. Carrigan

Mr. Robert H. Carrigan age 77 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital , Norwood Massachusetts on Wednesday, February 21st, 2007. Born on August 27, 1929, in Pittsford, Vermont, the son of the late James & Jean (Davidson) Carrigan. A 1947 graduate of Pittsford High School, he had entered into the United States Navy and served his Country during the end of World War II and returned to Pittsford to graduate from High School.

A operating engineer for heavy equipment throughout the Boston Area, he was a member of Local # 4 Boston. He did this for over 30 years before he retired.

A resident of Walpole for 48 years

Mr. Carrigan loved to fish, he did some bird watching. A talented handyman, with an efficent on carpentry. He was an avid reader

After his retirement he was a regular member of the coffee group at the Country Store in South Walpole

Beloved husband of Mary L. (McMullen) Carrigan loving father of Robert D. Carrigan of Sandwich, and Daniel J. Carrigan of South Portland, Maine. cherished grandfather of Richelle , Erin, Jennifer, Justin, Daniel, Lily and Samuel and a great grandfather of Andrew Brother of Jerome Carrigan of Monson and Mary Kehoe of Burlington, VT

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) @ Diamond Street Walpole on Monday, February 26, 2007 @ 10am.
