Richard E. Rowell

Mr. Richard E. Rowell died on Tuesday Evening, March 13th, 2007 in his Walpole Home. Born on December 12, 1925, in Norwood, Massachusetts , the son of the late Alton W. & Margaret (Bowles) Rowell. A 1943 graduate of Norwood High School. He graduated from high school and entered into the United States Army and served his country during World War II.

A retired Purchasing Agent for the Town of Walpole, he retired in 1987 with over 10 years of service.

Mr. Rowell enjoyed sports especially the Boston Red Sox

Beloved husband of Gertrude M.(Concannon) Rowell Loving father of Richard A. Rowellof Framingham, Stephen J. Rowell of Franklin, Carol A. Klein of Walpole, Christine E. Berry of Woodstock, Connecticut and James D. Rowell of Walpole. Cherished grandfather of Meghan Rowell, Kaitlan Rowell both of Walpole and Scott McDavitt of Lowell Great grandfather of Nina McDavitt Brother of Hazel Waseleski of Foxboro, the late Clayton Rowell, the late Robert Rowell, the late Louise Thompson and the late Ellen Griffin.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) @ Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday Morning (March 17th, 2007) @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Friday, March 16, 2007 from 4pm to 8pm at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole.
