Richard S. Fassnacht age 61 years died in the Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 30, 1950; he was the son of the late Karl R. and Frances (Sullivan) Fassnacht. He graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1968 and later from Northeastern University with the class of 1973. He has been a resident of Cranston, Rhode Island for the past 9 years moving there from Portland, Maine and previously from Walpole, Massachusetts.
He worked in the insurance industry for 25 years as a risk analyst.
Mr. Fassnacht was a gun collector, enjoyed traveling, was an avid Patriots fan, and loved to read.
Devoted son of the late Karl R. and Frances (Sullivan) Fassnacht. Cherished friend of Camille Terilli of Warwick. Brother of Joan E. Ravens of Andover, Carol A. Toti of Walpole, and Robert C. Fassnacht of Albion, RI. Uncle of 8 and great uncle of 5.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 10 AM to 12 Noon in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole, Massachusetts. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole, Massachusetts at 12:30PM. Interment will be private.
