Raymond G. Wallace, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Massachusetts. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Peter J. Wallace, Jr. and Mary E. (Dowling) Wallace. Following his graduation, Ray enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving his country during the Korean War. He was stationed aboard the USS R.H. McCard, serving as a Radioman.

Upon his honorable discharge, Ray returned to South Boston, where he married his beloved wife, Eleanor L. Foy, on January 13, 1952. Together they made their home in South Boston and Ray took a position with the Stern Can Factory. Ray's career brought him to the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, where he served at the Deer Island House of Correction. In 1967, Ray moved his family out of the city, settling in the small suburban town of Sharon, Massachusetts. He continued working at Deer Island until his retirement.

In his off time, Ray enjoyed spending the day on the golf course with his family and friends and played in a few golf leagues. He was a lifelong Bruins fan, and he watched them faithful whenever they took the ice. Most of all, he loved being surrounded by his family and was delighted to earn the title Grandpa, after his grandchildren were born.

Beloved husband of the late Eleanor L. (Foy) Wallace. Loving father of Michael Wallace and his wife, Laurie, of Falmouth, Robert Wallace and his wife, Maureen, of Wrentham, the late Raymond G.
