Raymond P. Paquette

Mr. Raymond P. Paquette age 85 years, died in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday morning, December 21st, 2007. Born in Norwood , Massachusetts on March 13, 1922, the son of the late Thomas and Blanche (Hermans) Paquette. A 1940 graduate of Walpole Senior High School. Mr. Paquette entered the United States Coast Guard and served his country during World War II as a Fireman First Class.

A Lifelong Resident of Walpole, he enjoyed fishing, bird watching especially the turkeys in his own backyard, and his vegetable garden. He gave of his time , having served as Scout Master for Troop 97 in Walpole for a number of years, and being involved with Boy Scouts for many years. He also had a talent, he sang Barbershop music, as part of the Baystatemen and as part of a quartet 3 Flats and a Sharpie.

Mr. Paquette was retired from N-Star, he began his career with Boston Edison as a lineman and retired from there in 1987 as the Supervisior of the Linemen.

Beloved husband of Alba A. (DeChellis) Paquette Loving father of Philip T. Paquette of Walpole and Raymond P. Paquette of Fall River. Brother of Thomas Paquette, Jr. of Chelmsford, the late Yvonne E. Green, and the late Leona L. Paquette

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route #27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Monday @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Sunday afternoon from 3pm to 7pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole, Massachusetts.
