Ralph Flynn

Ralph "Greg" Flynn, Jr. age 79 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 31, 1934, he was the son of the late Ralph G. and Marion (Crehan) Flynn. He graduated from Roslindale High School with the class of 1952. He has been a resident of Norfolk, Massachusetts for the past 46 years moving there from Norwood.

Ralph retired in 2001 as a ticket agent at Delta Airlines. He had previously worked with American Airlines, National Airlines, Alitalia Airlines, and Pan American Airlines.

He enjoyed keeping up on current events. He enjoyed watching the local news, reading, listening to Howie Carr, and especially enjoyed watching politics. Most of all he will be remembered as a family man.

Beloved husband of Muriel L. (Brothers) Flynn Loving father of Sean G. Flynn of Richmond, VA, Christopher F. Flynn of Norfolk, and Jennifer A. Flynn of South Boston. Cherished grandfather of Colleen, Gregory, and Bridget Brother of Marilyn Flynn of N. Dartmouth, the late Francis X. Flynn and the late Joan Dragun. Brother in law of Vivian (McGee) Flynn of N. Dartmouth.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Ralph's Life Celebration on Friday from 3-7PM and Saturday from 9-9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Judes's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk on Saturday at 10AM. Interment will be in the Norfolk Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of New England 85 Astor Ave Norwood, MA 02062 or the American Diabetes Association of New England 10 Speen Street 2nd Floor Framingham, MA 01701.
