Phyllis M. Susi

Phyllis M. (Palumbo) Susi age 81 years died in the Charlwell House Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility Norwood, Massachusetts on Thursday, December 27, 2007. Born in Medford, Massachusetts on May 28, 1926 to her parents Emilio and Sadie (Kelley) Palumbo, she graduated from Medford High School with the class of 1944. She later went on to obtain a counciling certificate from Stonehill College. She had been living in Norfolk since 1994, and previously lived in Falmouth.

Mrs. Susi worked at the Faulkner Hospital, where she was involved with drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

She enjoyed reading, walking, sewing and was a gifted artist.

Beloved wife of the late Ernest A. Susi. Loving mother of Christine and her husband James Carr of Norfolk. Cherished grandmother of Zachary Carr of Norfolk. Sister of Robert Palumbo of West Palm Beach, FL, and pre deceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Mass that will be celebrated at Saint Jude's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk on Thursday, January 3, 2008 @ 10:00 AM. Visiting hours and interment are private. Arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home Walpole.
