Peter Dale Mattson

Mr. Peter Dale Mattson age 61 years died suddenly in his Dennisport home on Tuesday , March 17, 2009. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on September 26, 1947, the son of Henry E. and Teresa M. (Presentato) Mattson. Raised in Walpole he graduated from Walpole High School and from Boston State College with a BS in Law Enforcement.

Mr. Mattson was a probation officer in Plymouth County for many year and is now retired.

A resident of Dennisport for the past 20 years moving here from Kingston and Walpole.

A member of the Dennis Pines and Highland Golf Clubs, the Moose Lodge in Yarmouth

He had been a hockey referee for MIAA , in Eastern Massachusetts and was known as Peter Puck

Loving father of Ashlie L. Mattson-Stoddard and her husband Carl of Dennisport Chersihed grandfather of Maxwell S. Moore of Dennisport Devoted son of Teresa M. (Presentato) Mattson of Walpole and the late Henry E. Mattson. Brother of Jeffrey A. Mattson of Walpole

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route #27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Monday, March 23, 2009 @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2pm to 6pm at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private.
