Peter Francis Magnuson

Mr. Peter Francis Magnuson age 63 years died in his Mansfield home on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008. Born in Norwood on June 15th, 1944, the son of Oscar F. and Mary S. (Karkota) Magnuson. He graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1962, entered Franklin Institute in Boston where he studied for 2 years.

Mr. Magnuson enlisted in the United States Army and served during Vietnam War.

He has been a resident of Mansfield for the past 10 years, moving there from Walpole.

Mr. Magnuson had worked as a teller, and had moved up to become a Bank Manager with the Norfolk County Trust Company, which became Baybank.

He enjoyed playing golf.

Devoted son of Oscar F. and Mary S. (Karkota) Magnuson of Walpole. Loving brother of Paula L. Magnuson, Needham. also survived by many cousins and his good friend Marcia Hopkins

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Monday Morning , May 19, 2008 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm . Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Massachusetts.
