Peter A. DeMichele

Peter A. DeMichele, Jr. age 69 years died in the Rhode Island Hospital on Sunday, December 06, 2009. Born in Walpole, Massachusetts on December 18, 1939; he was the son of the late Peter A. and Yolanda (DiTommasso) DeMichele. He graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1958; where he played football, hockey, and baseball. He has been a resident of Pawtucket, Rhode Island for the past 17 years moving from Attleboro, Massachusetts.

He worked as a machine operator for the Texas Instruments Company.

Mr. DeMichele was an avid Boston sports fan, and enjoyed playing cards and golf. He also enjoyed bowling, and held many championship trophies.

Loving father of Stacy DeMichele of Woonsocket, RI, Angela DeMichele Auclair of Lincoln, CA, and Bobby DeMichele of FL. Cherished grandfather of 3. Brother of Joanne Weinkauf of Walpole, Louise Stedman of Wrentham, Rosemary Trettel of Milford, Patricia Garabrant of NJ, Patrick DeMichele of Foxboro, the late Diana Roble, and the late Edward DeMichele. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 10AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery in Walpole.
