Paul E. Whiting

Paul E. Whiting, Sr. age 96 died in Saint Johns Nursing Home in Davie Florida on Sunday, December 13, 2009. He was 96 years old. Born in Wareham, Massachusetts on June 6, 1913, the son of Clarence and Minnie (Covell) Whiting.

A resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Westwood, Massachusetts.

Paul was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #17 of Boston, Massachusetts, for more than 60 years. Paul was an avid shuffle board player and a State Champion of both Florida and New Jersey.

Beloved husband of the late Gertrude (O'Donnell) Whiting Loving father of James F. Whiting of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Paul E. Whiting, Jr. of Walpole. Cherished grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 20. Brother of Warren Whiting of Florida and the late Evelyn Perry.
