Paul William Powderly

Paul William Powderly age 76 years died in his Norfolk, Massachusetts home on Monday, September 20, 2010. Born in Bedford, Massachusetts on October 30, 1933; he was the son of the late Richard J. and Ethel L. (Veinot) Powderly. He graduated from Concord Carisle High School with the class of 1951. He has been a resident of Norfolk, Massachusetts for the past 2 years moving from Bedford, Massachusetts.

He worked for Verizon for 38 years retiring in 1995.

Mr. Powderly loved working with wood in his wood shop behind his house in Bedford.

Beloved husband of Ellen M. Powderly. Loving father of Linda A. and her husband Kurt Plumley of Bedford, Laura A. and her husband John Mulcahy of Walpole, Marjorie A. Parker of Dorchester, and Michael P. and his wife Kim Powderly of Walpole. Cherished grandfather of Sami Plumley, Makena Parker, Brian and Jacqui Mulcahy, and Nicholas and Catie Powderly. Brother of Betty O'Connell of Chelmsford, Ethel Pellerin of Westford, Bobby Powderly of Maynard, Fran Sullivan of Bedford, the late Ruth Johnston, Richard Powderly, Ken Powderly, Dot Litchfield, Marion McGrath. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the memorial service in Saint Jude's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk on Friday at 11AM. Visiting hours are omitted. Interment will be private.
