Mr. Paul Douglas Gentile age 53 years died unexpectedly in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, Massachusetts on Saturday evening, February 9th, 2008. Born in the Bronx, New York, on September 28th, 1954, the son of Raymond E. Gentile and the late Norma J. (Quillen) Gentile. Educated in Walpole, He graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1973. After completing high school, Mr. Gentile enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served his country during the end of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Gentile has been a resident of Attleboro since 2005, he had previously lived in North Carolina, North Attleboro and Walpole.

He loved to watch the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins, and would watch the Celtics because his wife Jackie enjoyed watch them. He enjoyed riding his bike. Mr. Gentile has a creative side , loving to paint, still lifes, scenery, he also was good with his hand and had built a rock garden fountain in his yard. He and his wife enjoyed traveling.

Beloved husband of Jackie Sampson Loving father of Christine M. Gentile of Buffalo, and Nicole M. Gentile of Albany. Cherished grandfather of Glen M. Gentile of Buffalo Devoted son of Raymond E. Gentile of Walpole and the late Norma J. (Quillen) Gentile Brother of Shirley Rodriguez of Walpole, Raymond E. Gentile of Taunton, and Lorraine Hall of Franklin.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service to be held in the Second Congregational Church 50 Park Street Attleboro on Friday Morning , February 15, 2008 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery @ Bourne on Friday Afternoon @ 1:30PM. Memorial donations may be made to either: Old Colony Habitat for Humanity Post Office Box 100 Attleboro, Massachusetts 02703 or Avon Walk 1345 Avenue of the Americas New York, New York 10105.
