Paul D. Crowley, age 69, passed away peacefully in the Seasons Hospice Center in Milton, Massachusetts on Sunday, November 6, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Esther C. (Lane) Crowley. He was raised in Dedham and attended Dedham High School, where he played both hockey and baseball. After his graduation in 1965, Paul went on to attend the Wentworth Institute of Technology, earning a certificate in plumbing. Shortly after completing his studies, Paul earned a position with Kerivan Lane Plumbing and Heating.
Paul married his wife, Elaine A. Tolias, on May 26, 1973 and together they made their home in Norwood. After about three years, the young couple settled in Norfolk to raise their family. As Paul's family began to grow with the welcoming of children, he decided to start his own company, P.D. Crowley Plumbing and Heating, which he successfully operated for 35 years. Once he began thinking about retirement, Paul sold his company to Kerivan Lane and even though he was officially retired, he maintained a consulting position with them at their Needham office.
Paul had a passion for classic cars and owned three Corvettes over the years. He enjoyed caring for his yard and loved spending time in Aruba with Elaine. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family around his pool, usually with a Miller Lite in his hand.
