Paul T. Callahan

Paul T. Callahan age 72 years died in his Norfolk, Massachusetts home on Friday, October 5, 2012. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 11, 1940, he was the son of the late Timothy J. and Elizabeth (Fitzpatrick) Callahan. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain with the class of 1959. He earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from Boston State College. He has been a resident of Norfolk, Massachusetts since 1972 moving there from West Roxbury.

Mr. Callahan was a Boston Public School Teacher for 32 years. He taught 6-10th grade math, English, and computers. He retired in 1999.

Mr. Callahan obtained both his pilot's license and boat captain's license and was a member of the Mansfield Fish and Game Club.

He enjoyed artwork, especially oil painting.

Beloved husband of Margaret M. (Cain) Callahan. Loving father of Paul A. Callahan of Bellingham, Mark E. Callahan of E. Longmeadow, and Jean M. Bolin of CT. Cherished grandfather of Timothy James Callahan, Sean Mark Callahan both of E. Longmeadow, and Charles Blain of Bellingham. Brother of the late Leonard Callahan, Francis Callahan, Arthur Callahan, and Edward Callahan.

Funeral from the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street, WALPOLE on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Jude's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are omitted at the request of the family. Interment is in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury. Memorial donations may be made to: Seasons Hospice 275 Grove Street Newton, MA 02466.
