Patrick Daniel Parrelli

October 4, 1915 — January 20, 2009

Patrick Daniel Parrelli age 93 years died in the John Scott House in Braintree, Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 4, 1915, he was the son of the late William and Rose (Ruggiero) Parrelli. He graduated from Boston English High School with the class of 1933 and later graduated from Bentley College with the class of 1939. He had been living in Quincy for the past 16 years moving from Walpole where he spent 31 years.

He was the manager for the Whiting Milk Company in Quincy for 31 years, retiring in 1980.

Mr. Parrelli was very involved as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and as a waiter and contributor to the bulletin board at 1000 Southern Artery.

Also, while at 1000 Southern Artery he enjoyed a good card game, playing in the band and performing in the annual holiday show.

Beloved husband of 50 years of the late Jane R. (Sharpe) Parrelli. Loving father of Patrick Parrelli of Georgia, Lorraine T. Baker of South Walpole, Arlene E. Fafara of Westwood, and Allan P. Parrelli of Reading. Cherished grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 11. Brother of George Parrelli of Roslindale, William Parrelli of Dedham, Joanne Parrelli of Braintree, the late Eleanor Parrelli, and the late Daniel Parrelli. Friend of Rose Flaherty of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday at 10AM . Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans P. O. Box 57 Taunton, MA 02780.
