Patrick McKenna

Mr. Patrick McKenna age 80 years died in the Boston Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday Morning, September 16th, 2007. Born in Tilting, Newfoundland, Canada, he was educated in Canada and moved to Dorchester in 1948.

He entered the United States Army and served his new country as a Corporal during the Korean Conflict.

A resident of Dorchester for almost 60 years. He worked initially as a commerical fisherman out of Boston for 20 years , and later as a maintainance man for Sears and Roebuck in both the Dorchester Store and the Brookline Avenue Store.

He loved his cats.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Saint Peter's Church 311 Bowdoin Street Dorchester on Friday, September 21, 2007 @ 11AM . Visiting hours are Thursday, September 20, 2007 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery.
