Patricia Seeley Michel

Patricia Seeley Michel, age 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, April 21, 2017. Born in Amityville, New York on December 5, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Virginia H. (Posillico) Seeley. She was raised in Farmingdale, NY and graduated from Queen of the Rosary High School with the Class of 1962. Patricia continued her education at the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City, earning her Associates Degree in 1964. After graduation, Patricia took an executive secretary position with Squibb Pharmaceutical in New York city, where she worked until taking a position with Eastdil Realty in 1968.

Patricia married her husband, Albert L. Michel, on May 7, 1972 in Farmingdale, NY. Shortly after their wedding, the young couple traveled across the country, making their first home together in Los Angles, California, where they welcomed their daughter Christa. In 1975, Patricia moved her young family back to the East Coast, settling in Norfolk, Massachusetts, where she welcomed her daughter Cara. While living in Norfolk, Patricia was a loving mother and wife, taking on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. She became very active in her new community, taking part in various town committees and organizations, and as devout Catholic, became very involved in her parish, Saint Jude.

Most of all, Patricia was dedicated to her family. As a loving wife, mother, sister, and Grandy, nothing made her happier than spending time with those she loved.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Patricia's visitation on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 5-7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Jude Church, 86 Main Street, Norfolk on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at a later date in Saint Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.
